How To Check Faucet Compatibility With Pocketwash Eye Wash Station

What Works?

In general, Pocketwash was designed to work with rounded spouts measuring between 0.6 inches and 1.2 inches in diameter. This generally applies to faucets with removable aerators. This being said, other faucets may be compatible (please feel free to ask us using the form below).

What Doesn't Work?

Faucets with irregular spouts (see images above) typically are not compatible. Pocketwash requires a relative seal with the faucet to redirect flow upwards, hence the need for a mostly rounded spout to interface with the round inlet of our eye wash unit. Faucets with extension hoses (sometimes seen in newer kitchen faucets) may still redirect flow upwards, but these faucets are not recommended as they are difficult to keep stable while flushing the eyes.

Measuring Faucet Spouts in Your Space

Using a ruler, caliper, or a quarter (0.955 inches in diameter), check the diameter of the faucet spout. The spout diameter should rest between 0.6 inches and 1.2 inches. There is some "wiggle" room with these dimensions (confirm by sending us your dimensions below).
